Electrical Installation Engineer / Panel Wirer

We are delighted that due to our continued growth, we have a vacancy for two Electrical Installation Engineers / Panel Wirers within our Pharma Assembly Team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the electrical wiring of our Pharma product range.

Working Location: Head Office | Full-time

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role at Howorth, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fitment and wiring of electronic components in units including switch panels and terminal boxes
  • Read and understand electrical schematic drawings
  • Use hand and power tools competently
  • Assist other trades personnel or trades with their work activities
  • Work with others in a variety of situations
  • Work under own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Independently problem solve
  • Communicate with colleagues and supervision to achieve required output
  • Contribute to the development of company procedures to help efficiency
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Plan and prioritise own workloads to ensure that tasks are completed on time
  • Work in a safe manner
  • Any other reasonable requests made by line manager

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with electrical schematic drawings, manufacturing drawings and engineering instructions
  • Experience of electrical systems and basic wiring
  • Specific knowledge of methods, techniques and safety practises used in electrical wiring and component fitment
