Assistant Planner & Administrator

About the Job

We are delighted that due to our continued growth, we have a vacancy for a Sales Assistant Planner & Administrator within our Service & Aftersales team.

To ensure all the departmental administration, quotations and invoices are completed in the timescales demanded by our customer base. This includes supporting planning, tender submissions, contract renewals & fleet management.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming Customer purchase orders – including contract orders and internal team orders.
  • Process all purchase requisitions to the agreed timetable.
  • Complete all service department invoicing to the agreed timetable.
  • Complete quotations for all spares and service remedial works
  • Deal proactively with day to day queries and requests from internal and external clients in a timely way.
  • Scheduling of Engineers, maintaining Engineers' diaries and ensuring all paperwork is in on time.
  • Schedule and issue work to engineers

Desired Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Desired Professional Experience

Excellent communication skills to both internal and external customers – both written and verbal.

PC literacy.

Understand the importance of building customer relationships and meeting / exceeding customer expectations.
