About the Job
We are delighted that due to our continued growth we have a vacancy for a Head of Medical Sales in our Medical Sales Team
The role will be to build effective partnerships with potential clients, User Groups, Design Teams and Contractors (Main and MEP) in order to increase sales and secure, as a minimum, the agreed margin.
Responsibilities
To support the strategic development of the Medical business and drive inbound sales orders in line with annual targets and strategy, leadership of the Business Development Team (Medical).
To develop and capitalise on new business opportunities for the Medical Division predominately with the NHS and private Healthcare providers in assigned sector for capital sales and as manager of the medical sales team.

Essential Qualifications
- Have a minimum education of HNC or experience gained in a similar environment
- Understand the NHS and related procurement cycle and be able to work within it
- Understanding of Critical area operations, practices and hierarchy’s would be an advantage
- Medical / Construction contracting background would be an advantage
- Ability to understand & read construction & engineering diagrams
Desired Professional Experience
- Knowledge of the Howorth and partner company products
- Fundamentals of conceptual selling
- Sales / Business Development qualifications
- Experience leading sales teams
