Change in leadership at Howorth.
Posted:
After sixteen years with the business, Howorth Managing Director, Jim Liptrot, has confirmed he will be stepping down from the role at the end of October. Jim will be replaced by Adam Ainslie who will be stepping up from his current role as Finance Director to take on the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Jim joined the company in 2008 as Operations Manager and was promoted to Managing Director in 2017.
During his tenure as Managing Director, Jim has overseen the transformation of the business. “In the last six years, Howorth has taken major steps forward and has been completely transformed through our focus on people, purpose and values. In doing so, we have created a platform of financial stability and growth.
“Our reputation has grown with major clients in the UK and globally for the quality of products and services that we provide, befitting a company whose very existence is, and always has been, about improving and changing lives.
“I’m incredibly proud of the progress we have made together and the part I have played in it”, Jim said.
Adam has occupied the role of Finance Director at Howorth for the past ten years and during that time has worked closely with Jim to help ensure a solid financial footing for the company.
“I’m privileged and excited to be taking on the stewardship of Howorth, in the role of Chief Operating Officer, as we enter this next chapter for Howorth”, Adam commented.
“Having been part of Howorth for the past 10 years, I’ve seen first-hand the dedication, talent and sense of community that drives our success. I’m committed to build on the strong foundation that has been laid under Jim’s guidance and I look forward to working with colleagues across the business as we continue to grow, evolve, and innovate.”
Jim is looking to continue his association with Howorth as a Non-Executive Director, a role he has been invited to undertake in the new year.
